About The Progress Lab
Built for progress that shows up in real life.
The Progress Lab is a community-based ABA practice serving school-age children, teens, and young adults in Sanford and nearby North Carolina communities. We bring thoughtful, practical support into the places where everyday life actually happens.
What we support
Skills that matter beyond the therapy session.
Goals are individualized around the person and family. Areas of support may include functional communication, self-advocacy, independence, social participation, flexible routines, problem-solving, daily living skills, community participation, age-appropriate recreation, and caregiver collaboration.
Where services happen
Home, community, and everyday environments.
Depending on the individual plan and service authorization, support may occur at home and in appropriate community settings such as parks, stores, restaurants, recreation spaces, and other places where useful skills can be practiced naturally.
Our approach
Individualized. Collaborative. Respectful.
We use evidence-based ABA while keeping the person—not a checklist—at the center of care. Our approach emphasizes proactive support, natural-environment teaching, meaningful goals, dignity, and individual strengths and preferences.
Caregiver collaboration
Progress works better when it carries into everyday life.
Caregivers are important partners. We help families understand strategies, practice skills within real routines, and support progress across people and settings so gains are useful outside scheduled sessions.
Community connections
Trusted connections for families.
The Progress Lab participates in programs and provider networks that can help North Carolina families discover services and explore available resources.
